Seabuckthorn – from Ladakh in India, one of the last remaining indigenous sources. The plants are managed and cared for by Buddhist authorities using the ancient knowledge directed by astrological and environmental conditions as to when it is best for the plant to harvest. Picked by hand in the wild, the leaves have a natural and delicate freshness. Thought to have a positive, medicinal effect on the cardiovascular and immune systems. Marigold – The Flower of the Sun, associated with the sun’s journey across the sky because the flowers open when the sun rises and close when the sun sets. The flowers are harvested when they are fully open. Cleansing and detoxifying.Damask Rose - sourced from Sarapoor in Hariana, India, known as ‘Place of Love’. The wild-grown flowers are hand-picked from dawn until 10 am to ensure nothing precious is lost, then dried on mats in the sun. Refreshes the soul.
