Stay energised!
I was asked by the Evening Standard magazine to offer some tips on how to stay energised and be healthy and thought I'd share them with you on my blog, so here goes...
1 Aid lymphatic drainage by raising your head higher than your body when you sleep and have the window open to boost oxygen intake.
2 Get your circulation moving when you wake up. Take ten deep breaths then jump around the room for several minutes. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon to eliminate toxins.
3 If you suffer from puffy eyes (indicating a lymphatic system that isn't working well), make green tea ice cubes. Use them as compresses for ten minutes.
4 Rid the body of excess water by drinking fresh orange juice. It contains potassium, which helps to release fluid and firm body tissue. The vitamin C will help improve your complexion.
Most of all, be happy and enjoy the 'now' time as Spring slowly creeps towards Summer and we start to feel the temperature rising!
