de Mamiel philosophy
Balance is the perfect state of still water. Let that be our model. It remains quiet within and is not disturbed on the surface. Confucius
de Mamiel’s philosophy is centred on the single Chinese medicinal principle that life is entwined in a series of seasons and cycles.
Women age in seven year cycles, whilst for men it’s eight years. As we journey through these cycles, we need to focus on different aspects of our being, as our health and vitality relies on the balance between them.
Without realizing it, our bodies reflect the ebb and flow of energy of the seasons throughout the year. The vibrant fullness of summer contrasts with the need to slowdown in the winter urged on by the cold and dark. The spring allows us to emerge and grow, and in the autumn we harvest the fruits and prepare for a new beginning.
During each season and each cycle, a particular element becomes more dominant and impacts our vitality. Achieving balance between these elements enables us to be healthy and vibrant, creating an emotional sense of well-being.
Beautiful skin through Chinese medicine
The face is a roadmap for our energy, reflecting what is happening in our lives. The lines, wrinkles and furrows all have origins beyond the skin.
In today’s busy society, we rarely have time for “now”. We miss the importance of nurturing the cycle we are in, exploring it and making the most of it, even though we will soon move into the next.
de Mamiel facial acupuncture addresses imbalances in the body, at their origin. By addressing the many threads of our lives, looking at the external influences which impact our vitality, we enable a more balanced flow of energy, creating a more vibrant, healthy body. This is reflected in our skin, improves our appearance and makes us feel more alive.
de Mamiel’s philosophy enables the transitions between seasons and cycles to become harmonious.
