Skin SOS for the Party Season
Start now to prepare for the party season by building on a strong foundation and help speed up the detox process.
As a first step, humidify your bedroom. A humidifier in the bedroom is the ultimate answer to replenish some of the lost humidity while you sleep. If you don’t want to splash out on an electric appliance, place pretty saucers filled with pebbles near your radiators, and keep topped up with water and these will have a similar effect.
Step two, boost your oxygen intake and sleep with the window slightly open.
Step three, start each morning with a glass of warm water and squeeze of lemon. Drinking plays havoc with our skin and liver and this is a great way to begin getting that sluggish liver into action.
And finally, increase your antioxidant intake. You can do this in many different ways, but some of the easiest ways are by including blueberries in your diet, or drinking green or rooibos tea!
