Chinese Proverb
Inspired by Ancient Chinese beliefs, de Mamiel teas are therapeutically blended to nourish the body from within, helping to achieve inner harmony and a more balanced flow of energy.
Ancient Chinese believed that we should live in harmony with the natural cycles of our environment. Spring is about the unstoppability of Life! After a winter rest, the power of springtime surges through nature and through us. It takes us from 'being' to 'doing'. It enables us to move forward with vision, determination and purpose.
It is the perfect time to do two things: Release and Express. The expansive energy of the new season is outward moving, so we are primed to move stagnant, heavy, useless, sluggish and weary ways out of our bodies and lives and release the heaviness that has been stored all winter. We need to rid the body of toxins and let go to allow new growth to come through. Once we do this, we are freed up to start over, grow freshly, heal, create, and share our new blossoms with the world!
This is a season of fresh starts and new ideas as well as regeneration. It represents emotional growth through new experiences, restoring health and establishing our roots, or replacing them into healthy soil. It is also, quite naturally, about fertility. We feel ourselves moved by the primal seasonal urges. It is the time for starting relationships or recommitting to old ones.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is represented by the liver and gall bladder. The liver governs the unclogging of ‘qi’ and emotions. The free flow of ‘qi’ in turn will ensure the free flow of blood, digestion and water. Having come from a place of dryness (Winter), the sudden energy bursts of Spring can cause skin to become oily or show signs of inflammation (acne) or allergens. It is time to be kind to our skin, supporting the detoxification process with gentle nourishment on the inside.
de Mamiel Vitality Tea has been blended so that it works at a deeper level, supporting the body and striving to achieve a balance of yin and yang energies. The Ancient Chinese belief is that, in Spring, we need to cool and moisten, nourishing our yang while cooling our yin. de Mamiel Vitality Tea contains fruit extracts, herbs and spices that stimulate ‘qi’, reduce heat and clear the liver system to reach this state of harmony. They also contain diuretic, cleansing and detoxifying properties allowing you to look and feel rejuvenated in both body and mind.
